Reversible Rag Blanket

I should SO be sleeping, but I couldn't wait to see it and post photos. :)

The Embroidery came out lovely...

Updates

For the past week I have been sick. Today, I finally had to get involved in another project! Aside from making my hubby Chicken Curry in the slow cooker and baked him the cookies I have been promising him for over a week, I started on a baby blanket I have been tossing around in my head.

I have it in the dryer right now, so it should be ready for photos shortly! I cant wait to see how it came out.

I will post details and photos either in a little while or in the morning. SO much to do the next two days for my daughters birthday party on Sunday. Hectic!

Handmade from the heart. Cant go wrong! :)

Spring Quilt Tote Bag

This project, I wanted something a bit bigger (made it 11.5" x 14") and slightly different. I love the quilted look so I wanted to try that. This is my first try. I need a few improvements, but overall, I like how it came out. :)

Easter Patchwork Bag #2

Made another bag today....with a few adjustments. One of the adjustments I made was making the handle a bit shorter than the first one. The first one I made for over the shoulder, this one I made as a handbag and I think the straps suit the size of the bag much better.

Easter/Spring Patchwork Bag

Today, I finally got the fabric I have been so anxious for. I had this project in mind and couldn't wait to start it. I started this afternoon and this was the outcome. I am so pleased with it! AND it was my first attempt! Love it, love it, love it!

New and Exciting

Last week I received some new fabric I am pretty excited about. Expecting some more this week as well.

I have several new projects lined up. I have an order for a customized draft guard, which will be really cute! I am just waiting on the measurements. I will definitely be posting photos!

I also have lined up an Easter purse for my daughter which I will be using instead of an Easter basket. Filling it with the fake grass and some goodies. Really looking forward to that. I have some nice fabrics chosen for that one.

I am also looking into eyelet setters, which I have never used before. There is a bag/backpack I am planning on making. It's a patchwork design and really cute! I am pretty excited about the projects I have lined up.

I will keep my blog updated with info and photos, so be sure to check back often. Any suggestions for projects are always welcome! :)
